UKOD_1.1 Announcement
The DergiPark Subject List has been renewed and the first version UKOD_1.0 has been put into use. It has been announced that all criticisms and suggestions will be evaluated and the updated version will be published annually when commissioning on June 2, 2023. While almost no opinion was expressed when the draft was published before, when it was taken into the live system, intense feedback was sent to us via the DergiPark Help Desk and social media. The criticisms received were evaluated one by one, and about 3000 suggested subjects were examined. Without waiting for the end of the year, work on the second version was made immediately, the number of main titles was increased from 22 to 23, the total number of titles was increased from 2914 to 3111, and UKOD_1.1 was put into use. We would like to thank our professors from many disciplines, especially Philosophy, Religious Sciences, Humanities Sciences, Mathematics, Education, Geology, Gastronomy, History and Law, for their contributions in the second version subject list studies.
We would like to remind you that UKOD versions will contribute more to national and international science in every update, and that we are always in contact with the academic community through DergiPark Help Desk.
We kindly request users to keep the profile and journal subject selections correct and up-to-date, as the selection of subjects will contribute to the correct appointment of referees, national and international collaborations, bibliometric analyzes and the presentation of DergiPark statistical data.
DergiPark Subject List has been prepared in order to make article-referee matches more effective in the article evaluation process. It does not have an academic imposition, nor does it have a connection with staff assignments.
