Multipl Skleroz’lu Bireylerin Sosyal Yaşam Kalitelerine Teknolojinin Etkisi

Abstract

Bu
çalışmanın amacı Multipl Skleroz’lu bireylerin kişisel bakım ve
bağımsızlıklarını geliştirmeleri için günümüz teknolojisinin mevcut
potansiyellerini dünyada kullanılmakta olan iyi örnekleri üzerinden açıklamaya
çalışmaktır. Multipl Skleroz’lu bireyler denge kontrolü, fonksiyon
bozuklukları, bilişsel değişimler, yorgunluk, duyu kayıpları, ağrı, solunum kas
zayıflıkları, ataklar, duygusal bozukluklar, seksüel işlev bozuklukları,
konuşma ve yutma bozuklukları, görme alanı darlığı gibi problemler yüzünden iş
yaşamlarında, ev ortamlarında ve sosyal hayatta erişilebilirlik konusunda
sorunlar yaşamaktadır. Bu bilgiler ışığında Türkiye’de yaşayan Multipl Skleroz’lu
bireylerin değişen teknoloji bağlamında erişilebilirlik konusundaki
farkındalıklarının gelişmesi hedeflenmiş ve öneriler sunulmuştur.

The Effect of Technology on Social Life Quality of Individuals with Multiple Sclerosis

Abstract

This
study is aimed to explain the potential of technology on the person with
Multiple sclerosis’ life quality through good examples used around the world.
Problems such as balance control, dysfunction, cognitive changes, fatigue, sensorial
loss, pain, weakness, attacks, emotional disorders, sexual life, speech and
swallowing, impaired vision causes some accessibility problems in work and
social life. The article’s main objective is expanding accessibility awareness
of the people with Multiple Skleroz living in Turkey in the context of changing
technology and making suggestions.
