Postürün Oral-Motor Yapılar Üzerine Etkisi

Öz

Oral
motor beceriler, çiğneme, beslenme, yutma bozukluğu, salya ve konuşma ile
ilgili problemler özellikle baş ve gövde kontrolü ile yakından ilişkilidir. Omurga
ve pelvis stabilitesi beslenme sırasında oral kontrolün sağlanması açısından
önemlidir. Pelvis stabilitesi gövde kontrolünü, gövde stabilitesi baş
kontrolünü, baş stabilitesi çene kontrolünü ve çene stabilitesi de dil
hareketlerinin kontrolünü ve dudak mobilitesini sağlamaktadır. Bu ilişki
nedeniyle oral motor fonksiyon bozukluğu da postürü olumsuz etkileyebilmektedir.
Oral yapılar ile ilgili fonksiyonların, baş ve gövde stabilitesi ile etkileşimi
nedeniyle doğru baş pozisyonu, beslenme sırasında yutmayı kolaylaştırmakta ve
aspirasyon riskini azaltmaktadır.  Postürün,
oral motor fonksiyon üzerinde etkisinin bilinmesi,  oral motor problemlere yaklaşımda yol
gösterici olacaktır.

Effect Of Posture On Oral-Motor Structures

Öz

Oral-motor skills, chewing, feeding,
swallowing disorders, saliva and speech-related problems are closely related to
head and trunk control. Spinal and pelvic stability is important for oral
control during feeding. Pelvis stability provides body control, body stability
provides head control, head stability provides jaw control and jaw stability
also provides tongue movement control and lip mobility. Oral-motor dysfunction
can also adversely affect posture. Because of the interaction with the
functions of the oral structures, the correct head position facilitates
swallowing during feeding and reduces the risk of aspiration. Knowing the
mechanism between postural and oral-motor structures will guide the approach to
oral-motor problems.
