Dermatoses of Pregnancy and Nursing Care

Öz

The complex physiologic changes occuring in pregnancy due to start some specific skin disorders of pregnancy. The specific dermatoses of pregnancy are composed of pruritic, heterogenous group of diseases that are not defined clearly and encountered only during pregnancy and postpartum period. Whereas some dermatoses are distressing only to the mother because of severe pruritus, others are associated with fetal risks, including fetal distress, prematurity and stillbirth. This review discusses the various pregnancy dermatoses, their management and nursing care.
