Hemşirelik Uygulamalarında Tamamlayıcı ve Alternatif Bir Yaklaşım: Çigong

Öz

Son yıllarda ülkemizde ve dünyada tamamlayıcı ve alternatif tedavilerin kullanımında hızlı bir artış görülmektedir. Zihin ve beden uygulamaları içinde yer alan ve hareketli meditasyon olarak da isimlendirilen çigong, bireye özü ile uyumlu olmayı öğreterek bireyin içindeki uyumsuzlukları ve içsel yakınmaları enerji ile dengelemeye çalışmaktadır. Çigong insan vücudunda, beslenme, stres, iklim, postür bozukluğu gibi faktörler nedeniyle oluşan blokajların açılmasını sağlayarak sağlığın gelişmesine ve yaşam kalitesinin artmasına katkıda bulunmaktadır. İnsanın fiziksel, psikolojik, zihinsel ve ruhsal boyutlarını içeren çigong uygulamasının kan basıncını düzenleme, bağışıklığı güçlendirme, ağrıyı hafifletme, postüral iyileşme sağlama, kaygıyı azaltma, depresyonu önleme gibi sağlık üzerinde olumlu etkileri bulunmaktadır. Çigongun bireyselleştirilmiş hemşirelik bakımına insancıl ve bütüncül bir yaklaşımla yansıtmanın, sunulan hemşirelik bakımının kalitesini artıracağı düşünülmektedir.

A Complementary and Alternative Approach in Nursing Practice: Qigong

Öz

In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in the use of complementary and alternative treatments in our country and around the world. Included in mind and body practices and qigong exercise, also called moving meditation, teaches the individual to be in harmony with her essence and tries to balance the inconsistencies and internal complaints within the individual with energy. Qigong contributes to improving health and increasing the quality of life by opening the blockages in the human body caused by factors such as nutrition, stress, climate, and postural disorders. Qigong practice, which includes the physical, psychological, mental and spiritual dimensions of human beings, has positive effects on health such as regulating blood pressure, strengthening immunity, relieving pain, providing postural improvement, reducing anxiety and preventing depression. It is thought that reflecting the qigong exercise to individualized nursing care with a humane and holistic approach will increase the quality of nursing care provided.
