Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Tıp ve Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi öğrencilerin oluşturduğu karma sınıfta verilen histoloji derslerinde, ışık ve dijital mikroskop kullanımı ile ilgili memnuniyet derecelerini farklı parametreler açısından değerlendirmektir.

Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmada Tıp ve Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi ikinci sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşan gruba memnuniyet anketi uygulandı. Öğrencilerin iki farklı mikroskop eğitimini “kullanım kolaylığı”, “kullanım keyfi”, “tercih edilirlik”, “görüntülerin netlik ve anlaşılırlığı” ve “sınavda kolaylık ve anlaşılırlık” açısından değerlendirmeleri istendi.

Bulgular: Dijital mikroskobun ışık mikroskobuna göre “kullanım kolaylığı”, “tercih edilirlik”, “görüntülerin netlik ve anlaşılırlığı” ve “sınavda kolaylık ve anlaşılırlık” yönlerinden anlamlı derecede yüksek puan aldığı (p<0.05); “kullanım keyfi” yönünden ise ışık mikroskobunun dijital mikroskoba göre daha yüksek puan aldığı saptanmıştır (p<0.05).

Sonuç: Bu çalışmanın sonuçları değerlendirildiğinde günümüzün teknolojik yenilikleri ile büyüyen öğrencilerin dijital mikroskop kullanımını daha çok tercih ettikleri ve bu görüntüler üzerinde daha rahat çalıştıkları anlaşılmaktadır.
