Abstract











Big data is a term that describes a huge
amount of data from different sources and the ability to analyze them. In
health care services, it has an important potential to better understand the
needs of parties such as patients and health care providers, to optimize
services and to create value. Therefore, big data can use as a vehicle by
health institutions/organizations to identify deficiencies and risks, to reduce
medical errors and costs, and to improve health outcomes, physician-patient
relationship, patient satisfaction, and the quality of health care in general.
The aim of this study is to assess the relationship between big data and the
quality of health care services through the concepts of patient satisfaction,
continuous improvement, effectiveness, productivity and patient safety.

Büyük Verinin Sağlık Hizmetleri Kalitesindeki Rolü

Abstract

Sağlık hizmetlerinde farklı kaynaklardan üretilen devasa
miktardaki veriler ve bu veri setlerini analiz edebilme yeteneğini ifade eden büyük
veri, hasta ve sağlık hizmeti sunucusu gibi paydaşların ihtiyaçlarını daha iyi
anlamak, sunulan hizmetleri optimize etmek ve değer yaratmak için önemli bir
potansiyele sahiptir. Dolayısıyla sağlık kurum/kuruluşları, eksiklik ve
risklerin belirlenmesi, tıbbi hataların azaltılması, üretilen sağlık
çıktılarının geliştirilmesi, maliyetlerin azaltılması, çalışan-hasta ilişkilerinin
geliştirilmesi ve hasta memnuniyetinin artırılmasını içeren sağlık
hizmetlerinin kalitesinin iyileştirilmesinde bir araç olarak büyük veriyi
kullanabilir.  Bu çalışma ile hasta
memnuniyeti, sürekli geliştirme, etkililik, verimlilik ve hasta güvenliği
kavramları üzerinden günümüzde önemli bir konu haline gelen büyük veri ile sağlık
hizmetleri kalitesi ilişkisinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.
