Özet
Tıp eğitimi oldukça pahalı donanım, uzun bir süreç gerektiren ve doğrudan insan hayatını ilgilendirdiği için önemli bir eğitim şeklidir. Bu alanda en iyi ve en kaliteli eğitim şeklinin belirlenmesi için çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır. Bu araştırma Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nde öğretim üyelerinin tıp eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerini saptamak üzere tanımlayıcı türde planlandı. Anket uygulanan 140 öğretim üyesinin %72.8'inin anketi dolu olarak geri döndü. Araştırma grubunun yaş ortalaması 39.5±5.8 olup, 83 (%87.3)'ü erkekti. Öğre- tim üyeleri ortalama 15.7±5.7 yıl önce fakülteden mezun olmuştu ve 6.1±5.0 yıldır fakültede çalışmaktaydı. Grupta 34 kişi (%33.3) daha iyi tıp eğitimi ile ilgili bir etkinliğe katılmıştı. Öğretim üyelerinin çoğunluğu (%83.3) bu konuda eğitimlere katılmaya istekli olduklarını belirtti. Çalışmanın sonucunda fakültemizdeki öğretim üyelerinin büyük çoğunluğunun daha iyi öğretim metodlarıyla ilgilendiği belirlenmiştir ve bu gele- cekteki çalışmalar için önemlidir.

Abstract
Opinions and practice of teachers on medical education in Süleyman Demirel Üniversity Medical Faculty Objecives Medical education is such an education type that necessitating a quite expensive equipment and quite long period of time. Also, due to related to human life, it is an important education type. It is needed the studies, that for identification of the best and most quality education type in this field. Material-Methods. This is a descriptive study designed to interpret the viwes of teachers about medical education in Süleyman Demirel University School of Medicine. We applied a questionnaire to them. Overall, 72.8% of the 140 returned the questionnaire filled. Results. Mean age of the teachers was 39.5±5.8 yeras old. Eighty-three% of them are male. They graduated of the faculty 15.7±5.7 years ago. They have been working at the faculty for 6.1±5.0 years. 33.3%of the study group had attended to an activity about medical education. Most of them (83.3%) showed a great eagerness to participate in trainings on this subject. In conclusion, this study indicate that most of the teachers in our medical faculty interest in the best teaching methods and it is important for the studies in the future.
