With the increasing number of surgical interventions, evidence-based methods have been used instead of traditional methods. Surgical care and treatment methods have been standardized and gathered under a single protocol in protocol. Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS); It is frequently used today because it prevents complications that may develop in the patient, accelerates the healing process, shortens the hospital stay, and reduces the cost. Early mobilization; is a versatile approach within the ERAS protocol. It is an indispensable part of the surgical process. With early mobilization application; pulmonary, thromboembolic, and cardiac complications, decreased muscle strength and insulin resistance can be prevented. This review was written to examine the benefits of using the ERAS protocol and to emphasize the importance of early postoperative mobilization
