Kedi Ve Köpeklerde Laktatın Klinik Önemi

Year 2016, Volume: 9 Issue: 4, 353 - 356, 01.12.2016

Abstract

Clınıcal Sıgnıfıcance Of Lactate In Dogs And Cat

Year 2016, Volume: 9 Issue: 4, 353 - 356, 01.12.2016

Abstract

Lactate is a hydroxy acid in an organic nature. It is the product of anaerobic glycolysis. LDH and pyruvate using is the only way for synthesis of lactate. For that reason, the amount of pyruvate in the environment is the most important factor for the formation of lactate. Measurement of the blood lactate levels in cats and dogs is useful in evaluating of hypovolemia, determining of prognosis, diagnosis of the certain diseases and presence of the shock state and tissue perfusion evaluation. Clinical significance of lactate was mentioned in this review.
