The aim of this study was to investigate the causality relationship between energy consumption and GDP in 4 Turkish Republics including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The relationship between the variables was analyzed by asymmetric causality tests for the period 1990 and 2018, unlike many studies in the literature. In conclusion, it was concluded that the Growth hypothesis was valid in Azerbaijan economy while the Feedback hypothesis was valid in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan economies. The causality relationships obtained for Turkmenistan do not allow making a general conclusion from economic aspects.
