Diyetle Bor Alımının Sağlık İle Etkileşimi: Güncel Bakış

Abstract

Bor; besinlerde; borik asit ve bor formunda bulunan, atomik numarası 5 olan ve periyodik cetvelde 3A grubunda bulunan bir elementtir.1800-1900 yıllar arasında borun ilk olarak toksisitesi tanımlanmıştır.2000’li yıllara gelindiğinde ise borun yalnızca toksik değil aynı zamanda önemli yaşamsal faaliyetlerde etkin esansiyel bir mineral olduğu ve makromineral metabolizması üzerinde, endokrin fonksiyonda; D vitamini metabolizması, görme fonksiyonunda ve kemik metabolizmasında ve immun fonksiyonda rolü olduğu; glikoz, triaçilgliseroller gibi enerji substratlarına ve aminoasit, protein gibi nitrojen içerikli maddelere etkisi bulunduğu bildirilmiştir. Bu derleme makalede; diyetsel kaynaklı olan borun insan fizyolojisindeki esansiyel rolü ve işlevleri ile sağlık ile olan etkileşimi tartışılacaktır.

Current Overview Of Interactions With Dietary Boron Intakes And Health

Abstract

Boron is the fifth element in the periodic table in Group IIIA  which occurs in foods as borate and boric acid.It’s toxicity was identified between 1800-1900 years but; when 2000 years, t is identified not only toxic but also essential mineral that on macromineral metabolism, endocrin functions, vitamin D metabolism, visual function, bone metabolism, glucose and  which  known the energy substrats, aminoacids and proteins.So, this review articles will discuss that dietary source of boron’s essential functions and interactions with various health.
