Abstract

In this study, micro-holes drillability is experimentally studied using electro-discharge machining method (EDM). Within the scope of work, experiments are performed using four different processing parameters like that; three different discharge current (6, 12, 24 A), three different electrode rotational speed (200, 400, 600 rev/min), fixed on time (12 µs), fixed off time (3 µs) and three different dielectric pressure (40, 80, 120 P). AISI 1040 ÇELİĞİNİN ELEKTRO EROZYON İLE İŞLEME YÖNTEMİYLE DELİNMESİNDE İŞLEME PARAMETRELERİNİN TEMEL PERFORMANS ÇIKTILARI ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada elektro erozyon ile işleme yöntemiyle (EEİ) mikro deliklerin delinebilirliği deneysel olarak incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda üç farklı boşalım akımı (6, 12, 24 A), üç farklı elektrot takım devir sayısı (200, 400, 600 dev/dak), sabit vurum süresi (12 µs), sabit vurum aralığı (3 µs ) ve üç farklı dielektrik sıvı uygulama basıncı (40, 80, 120 P) altında deneyler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen deneyler sonrasında işleme parametrelerinin EEİ temel performans çıktıları üzerindeki (iş parçası işleme hızı (İİH), elektrot aşınma hızı (EAH) ve bağıl aşınma (BA)) etkileri araştırılmıştır. Deneysel sonuçlar ile alınan veriler sayesinde EEİ temel performans çıktılarının doğrudan işleme parametrelerine bağlı olduğu görülmüştür.
