Yığma yapılarda hatıl kullanımı taşıyıcı sistem bütünlüğünü sağlamak açısından oldukça önemlidir. Depremler sonucunda hasar gören veya zaman içerisinde yok olan taşıyıcı duvarlar içindeki bu elemanlara günümüzde nasıl müdahale edildiği araştırmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Yığma yapılarda yapılan hatıl uygulamalarına tarihi yapıların restorasyon çalışmalarında rastlanıldığı için, uygulama örnekleri geleneksel ve kültürel miras değerleri olan yapılar üzerinden anlatılmıştır. Bu uygulamalar sırasında geleneksel malzeme ve yöntemlerin yanında modern malzeme ve yöntemler de kullanılmaktadır. Geleneksel veya modern hatıl uygulamalarının taşıyıcı sisteme yapacağı etki dikkate alınarak, tarihi yapıların ihtiyacı doğrultusunda tercih edilmesi gereklidir. Yapılacak uygun müdahalelerin, bu yapıların gelecek kuşaklara aktarılmasına büyük katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
The use of lintels in masonry structures is very important in terms of ensuring the integrity of the structural system. The question of how to evaluate these elements in masonry walls is the subject of research. Since the lintel applications in masonry structures were found in the restoration works of the historical buildings, the examples of the applications are explained through the structures which have traditional and cultural heritage values. In addition to traditional materials and methods, modern materials and methods are used during these applications. Taking into consideration the effect that traditional or modern lintel applications on the structural system, it is necessary to prefer these applications in line with the requirements of historical structures. It is believed that appropriate interventions in historical masonry structures can contribute greatly to the transfer of these structures to future generations.
