Abstract

Making decisions about their own health status is one of the basic responsibilities of individuals. In the face of the health services that is developing day by day, individuals may have difficulties in making decisions. In addition, health institutions also have responsibilities in accessing, understanding and applying health information. These responsibilities have given birth to organizational health literacy. There are very few studies in Turkey about organizational health literacy, which is a relatively new concept. It is thought that this research will contribute to the literature on organizational health literacy. As a way of increasing the health literacy level of the society, it is necessary to include organizational health literacy in health policy, to raise awareness, to identify areas for institutional improvement and to strengthen communication with patients

Kurumsal Sağlık Okuryazarlığı

Year 2023, Volume: 7 Issue: 1, 66 - 76, 30.06.2023
https://doi.org/10.52148/ehta.1284407
