Abstract
AMAÇ: Fetüsün Toksoplazma ve Rubella virus enfeksiyonları ciddi
konjenital doğum defektlerine veya fetal ölüme neden olabilir. Bu çalışmada,
hastanemize rutin muayene için başvuran gebe kadınlarda yaş gruplarına göre
Toksoplazma ve Rubella virus IgM ve IgG tipi antikorların seropozitifliğinin
değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı.
HASTALAR VE
YÖNTEM: Aralık 2011- Aralık 2016 tarihleri arasındaki beş
yıllık periyotta hastanemize muayene için başvuran 10178 gebe kadın yaş
gruplarına göre 15-24 yaş, 25-34 yaş, 35-44 yaş ve ≥45 yaş olarak dört gruba
ayrıldı. Bu hastaların Toksoplazma ve Rubella virus IgM ve IgG tipi antikorlarının
laboratuvar sonuçları retrospektif olarak incelendi.
SONUÇLAR: Toksoplazma ve Rubella IgM antikorları seropozitiflik
yüzdeleri sırasıyla %2,0 ve %0,8 olarak, IgG antikorları seropozitiflik
yüzdeleri ise sırasıyla %63,0 ve %91,1 olarak saptanmıştır.
TARTIŞMA: Bu çalışmada hastanemize başvuran gebe kadınlarda
Toksoplazma ve Rubella virus seropozitiflikleri belirlendi. Çalışmamızda
saptanmış olan seropozitiflik sonuçlarının Türkiye’nin farklı bölgelerinde yapılmış
diğer çalışmalarla benzer olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, bu çalışmanın
literatüre katkısı olacağına inanmaktayız.

Abstract
AİM:
Toxoplasmosis
and Rubella virus infections of the fetus can lead to serious congenital birth
defects or fetal death. In this study, we aimed to evaluate at the seropositivity
of IgM and IgG type antibodies against Toxoplasmosis and Rubella virus
according to the age groups of pregnant women who applied for routine
examination in our hospital.
PATIENTS
AND METHOD: 10178 pregnant women who applied for
examination in our hospital between December 2011 - December 2016 during five
years period were seperated in to four age groups of 15-24 years, 25-34 years,
35-44 years and ≥45 years. These patient’s laboratory results of IgG and IgM
antibodies against Toxoplasmosis and Rubella virus were analysed
retrospectively.
RESULTS: Seropositivities
of IgM for Toxoplasmosis and Rubella were found as 2,0% and 0,8% respectively,
seropositivities of IgG for Toxoplasmosis and Rubella were found as 63,0% and
91,1% respectively.
DISCUSSION: In this study, Toxoplasmosis and Rubella virus
seropositivities were determined in pregnant women who admitted to our
hospital. It was seen that the seropositivity results determined in our study
were the same other studies which were taken in Turkeys' different regions. As
a result, we believe that this study will contribute to the literature.
