Depremde Çoklu Travma Yaklaşımı

Abstract

Depremler, insanlığı etkileyen en yıkıcı felaketlerden biri olma potansiyeline sahiptir. Yer yüzeyinde depremler, şiddetli olması halinde can kaybına ve yerleşim birimlerinin yok olmasına neden olmaktadır. Ülkemiz deprem kuşağında yer alan bir ülke olduğundan her zaman depremin beraberinde getirdiği acı risklerle karşı karşıyadır. Deprem sonrası oluşan yaralanmalar genelde çoklu yaralanmalar şeklinde gerçekleşir ve kompleks bir süreci içerdiğinden birçok tıbbi branşın dahil olduğu bir yaklaşımla yönetilmelidir.

Ülkemizde, 6 Şubat 2023 tarihinde meydana gelen 2 depremde 11 il etkilenmiş ve resmi kayıtlara göre can kaybının 45,000 civarında olduğu açıklanmıştır. Ülkemizi bu denli ciddi etkileyen bir doğal afetin tekrarlanması durumunda benzer kayıplar yaşanmaması için gerekli önlemler alınmalıdır. Dergimizin Haziran 2023 sayısının ilk makalesinde de deprem sırasında en çok etkilenen vücut bölgeleri olan toraks, abdomen ve ekstremite yaralanmalarına yaklaşımı multidisipliner bir yaklaşımla sunduk.
