Innovative Technologies in Nursing Care

Abstract

The transformative effects of today’s technologies in the health sector attract attention. Technology has gained importance in dynamic health systems such as education and nursing care. Nurses’ integration with the increasing speed of technology and the importance of the need for related programs are emphasized. Innovative approaches in evidence-based care can only be achieved through the integration of new technologies. Last 3 years’ academic publications are reviewed on the theme of nursing informatics and the contributions of major public or non-governmental organizations are specified. This review tries to explain the innovative technologies with the innovation approach in nursing care services that match the values of nursing.

Abstract

Günümüzde teknolojinin sağlık sektöründe yarattığı dönüştürücü etkiler dikkat çekmektedir. Teknoloji, eğitim ve hemşirelik bakımı gibi dinamik sağlık sistemlerinde önem kazanmıştır. Hemşirelerin, teknolojinin giderek artan hızıyla bütünleşmesi ve ilgili programlara duyulan ihtiyacın önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Kanıta dayalı bakımda yenilikçi yaklaşımlar ancak yeni teknolojilerin entegrasyonu ile gerçekleşebilmektedir. Hemşirelik bakımında bilişim teması üzerine son üç senede yayımlanmış akademik çalışmalar incelenmiş ve önemli kamu veya sivil organizasyonların konuya katkıları belirtilmiştir. Bu derleme, sağlık sektörünün önemli elemanları olan hemşirelerin en temel görevleri olan bakımda; yenilikçi teknolojilerin yarattığı yenilikler ve hemşireliğin değerleri ile örtüşen bakım hizmetlerini inovasyon kavramı üzerinden tanımlamaya çalışır.
